What Are My Policies?

To start, I have a couple.... But to understand why these are my policies, you have to understand me.

Hi! Im Mike! I am an average Michigander. My family came from Poland & Serbia (then Yugoslavia), to Michigan in search for a better life. Against most people in my family who worked, or are working in the automotive field, I work currently in Operations Management in the aviation sector.

I balance real world situations and probabilities with hypotheticals not many think of.

I am a straightforward thinker.

Some hate that I think of all possibilities, but I think its a gift!

I started my political journey in 2021 with Michigan State Representative Annette Glenn in a Constituent Relations internship role. I wanted the role because like most people in the United States, especially Michigan, the corruption and power abuse our leaders took to ensure our lives would be the most complicated. During my time with Rep. Glenns office, I learned about Michigan, Michigans leaders and how everyone contributes (or doesn't) to Michigan and its residents as well as the United States.

After my time with Rep. Glenns office, my eyes were really opened how things worked within Michigan and within the United States. I was asked by my office if I aspired to run one day and my answer was "maybe" but "probably not". Then came more corruption.

Corruption from the current Governor.

Corruption from the President of the United States.

Corruption from Representatives and Senators, and I decided if I ever had the chance to run, I would.

Fast forward to now, 2026, I've been carrying a pocket Constitution every where I go for the past couple years in case a clear Constitutional right is broken (there are many in everyday life, by the way!).

I also realized that the "if I ever have the chance" would be a terrible saying and you just have to jump in head first. Which is what Im doing now.

So, what are my policies?

Ban on Flock Cameras/Surveillance Cameras:

These cameras are against the 4th amendment on unreasonable searches and seizures. Thats it.

Its that simple. They are unconsititional and have no right in the United States and Michigan is no exception.

Stopping The Building Of AI Data Centers:

These data centers use A LOT of power. DTE & power companies continue to raise their prices and for what? More unreliable power?

No. Unacceptable.

On day one, data center builds would be stopped.

Subsequently, the property these data centers are on, would be fought for and hope to turn into farm land so Michigan farmers can grow crops and help Michigander's (no matter their income level) eat fresh, whole foods.

Fresh food is important and you shouldn't be limited by your income level for a fresh meal. Anyone and everyone deserves a fresh meal.

Housing And Affordability:

Younger generations aren't buying houses like the past generations. A ban on private equity firms buying single family homes would be signed as an executive order on day one.

Furthermore, I would eliminate property taxes on all homestead properties owned by Michigan residents.

We would then provide targeted investment and market-driven solutions, and States assistance for young first time homebuyers.

No foreign Aid To Any Country:

For example: Michigan currently contributes approximately $95 million dollars annually towards United States commitments to fund the Israeli military. This is $95 million dollars that could go towards things Michiganders need, like more affordable housing, better roads, etc. Because of this, all contributions on foreign aid will halt on day one of me being in office. Theres so many examples of other contributions of Michigander's tax money going towards other foreign aid that many aren't aware of!

Ending Michigan State Income Tax:

What money you make is the money YOU make. The government shouldn't tell you that you need to pay taxes then turn around and either give your money away, or tell you its "for your benefit" when it clearly isn't.

Ending The Drug Prohibition In Michigan:

For too long, people have been arrested and convicted for crimes related to this. The victimless cases will be reviewed on day one for pending reduced or sentence cuts. These victimless arrests often fill up our jail system making it harder for real criminals to be locked up because our jail systems are so full.

Furthermore, Michigan would treat drug and substance abuse like it would a health issue, NOT criminal issue. Michigan would then lift then decriminalize these substances to give people the right to get help.

People should never be afraid to get help.

Right now, people are afraid to get help over fear of being arrested because they have a health issue (addiction). Michigan would be dedicated to opening a larger amount of rehabilitation centers to give more people an active chance for the help they deserve.

Marriage Equality:

The government shouldn't have any right or say in personal matters.

The individuals themselves have the liberty to make their own decisions. Thats it.

Freedom Of Choice:

The government shouldn't have any right or be involved in any way in any of these matters. What you do, is your right.

Protecting The Great Lakes:

Michigan is the Great Lakes State. Protecting our lakes is key. This includes pollution and development including but not limited to data center runoff and other things that may harm our Great Lakes.

So what do you say, Michigan? Is a long shot, Independent Constitutionalist write-in candidate worth your vote?

Best regards,

Michael S. Kuczynski
